The crust has formed on Emerald Lake and it’s very supportive till about noon–or till it gets too warm. Get out there in the mornings for excellent ski skating & classic skiing OFF tracks !!! It only gets better when the sun is out as well !

Joe put some primary tracks on the Yoho Valley Road today. It’s not perfect but certainly better than it was. Enjoy…..

Joe did the Tally-Ho and the Kicking Horse today. Pretty mild out!! Lots of slush on Emerald Ice so he cannot take the track setter through that. Gotta wait till it cools off. Then we may get perfect off trail skiing with the crust???? The BEST! Here’s hoping….skee ya later eh? MT

Our 4 days at Assiniboine were totally awesome!! Just so nice to get away to a lodge. Especially this one!!!

Ski trails in Yoho are holding up well. Super glide-eee and only glazed in a few sun spots. Just waiting for more snow…..skee ya later eh???

Wow, what a stunning day. The Kicking Horse was so nicely track set and super fast this morning. We met Joe at Emerald in the afternoon, and he got the Horse trail, Alluvial Fan, the Connector and the Tally Ho, all track set again.
