Last weekend was the 3rd annual KHSC fundraiser. I would like to send a big thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make this happen and to all the keen skiers who participated! Joe and Flint groomed some amazing tracks out there and everyone was thrilled. Heather, Susan, Maggie, Denise, Lorraine and Marilyn, the baked goods were incredible! We were very lucky with the weather which was a big factor in participation rates. We had 85 skiers ranging from 12-80 years old (even a penguin showed up!) and raised approximately $1900.00 with donations for our club, Yahoo! It was a real pleasure for me to be part of it and to see all the smiles on skiers face as they skied the Yoho trails. Thank you very much everyone and we hope to make it happen again next year.
