It’s January 10th !! The Cold Front has just arrived–with the WIND !! A MINI Yoho Blow for now……..Thank goodness.
Our trails were looking really good–the huge slush puddles on Emerald Lake finally froze up, we got 15 cms of snow and it got groomed and track set by Parks Canada right away. They even packed the Connector once more(no tracks)…should be ready to groom for the next snow fall and the end of this wicked cold snap! Time will tell.
As everyone knows…all our equipment has been sold off. We are happy to be able to move it all so quick and have Parks Canada continue to do the great work they are doing.
We are looking at getting a heavy duty bench or two built for the Kicking Horse Fire Road viewpoint between the Emerald and Amiskiwi River. It would be there year round for all to enjoy. Wishing you a very Happy New Year. Skeee ya later…… MT BB DT
