Participate in our Yoho Challenge fundraiser at your convenience between February 13-19th.
In order to mitigate the ongoing pandemic, from Feb.13-18th participants will be self-sufficient on the course.
From Feb.13-18th, after donating and completing your chosen option, please head to the Truffle Pigs Lodge to redeem:
One free hot non-alcoholic beverage of your choice at the Truffle Pigs Lodge in Field (to go option available) along with a 10% discount on all food, drinks and merchandise (redeemable on the day of your ski only). The Truffle Pigs will be open at 11am on Sunday, Friday and Saturday and open at 2pm from Monday-Thursday.
On Feb.19th, we will make it an official fun day and will provide skiers with safely distributed food and hot beverage at two locations. Approximate start time will be 10am. Dressing up in a costume is optional but we strongly encourage it. Our theme is: “Yellow” and we have a prize for best costume! Please submit costume pictures to: jstichelbout@gmail.com
! The course options have changed this year, please read carefully… The start and finish will be at Emerald Lake!
Option #1 (8kms*): Classic ski to the back of Emerald Lake and alluvial fan.
Option#2 (16kms*): Classic ski from Emerald Lake to Natural Bridge and back to Emerald.
Option#3 (30kms*): Classic ski from Emerald Lake to the Natural Bridge and ski to the end of the Kicking horse river trail before heading back to Emerald Lake.
Option#4 (38kms*): Classic ski from Emerald Lake to the Natural Bridge and ski along the Kicking horse river before heading back to Emerald Lake and finish with the alluvial fan loop. (While you are back there, you can always do a couple laps on the alluvial fan to make it 42kms…)

Feed station #1: Hot beverage and treats at Emerald Lake from 11:00-15:00pm.
Feed station #2: Hot beverage and treats at the Natural Bridge from 11:00-15:00pm.

2- Go to www.khsc.ca- membership page- to make your donation. Etransfers to payments@khsc.ca and the suggested donation amount is $25.00. A full 1 year Club membership is $50.00 which of course includes your participation! If etransfer is not an option for you, please donate cash at the Truffle pigs on the day of.
All profits will go to our Field Kicking Horse Nordic ski club for the trail grooming in Yoho National Park.

• Fabulous grooming and a Kicking Horse Ski Club sticker (can be collected at the Truffle Pigs Lodge)!
