Last night, a bunch of Field and Lake Louise locals went out to Emerald Lake to enjoy an amazing full moon ski. The tracks on Emerald and Alluvial Fan were fantastic.
Happy trails,
Paulina

After a very windy and snowing Saturday morning, Joe tracked set Kicking Horse Rd to Otterhead in the afternoon. The trail is in great shape to enjoy on this beautiful sunny Sunday.
Happy trails,
Paulina
Joe tracked set yesterday, Friday 6th, from Field, Connector and ALL of Emerald, but we got 10-12 cm’s of snow, and it keeps coming.
He tried to track set today, but the Lake was very, very busy to do it. Joe will try again tomorrow, finger cross!
Happy trails,
Paulina
After 15 cm of fresh snow in Yoho, Joe tracked set on Saturday, February 29th, Tally Ho and Kicking Horse to Otterhead trail. The trail is in great shape.
It was not possible to track set the connector, because the snow was too soft.
Happy trails,
Paulina
Last weekend was the 3rd annual KHSC fundraiser. I would like to send a big thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make this happen and to all the keen skiers who participated! Joe and Flint groomed some amazing tracks out there and everyone was thrilled. Heather, Susan, Maggie, Denise, Lorraine and Marilyn, the baked goods were incredible! We were very lucky with the weather which was a big factor in participation rates. We had 85 skiers ranging from 12-80 years old (even a penguin showed up!) and raised approximately $1900.00 with donations for our club, Yahoo! It was a real pleasure for me to be part of it and to see all the smiles on skiers face as they skied the Yoho trails. Thank you very much everyone and we hope to make it happen again next year. Until then, happy trails…. Jessica 🙂
After a very successful Yoho Challenge on Saturday, and thanks Joe and Flint’s hard work, the Trails in Yoho are in great shape (except for Tak. Fall Road).
On Monday, We were at Kicking Horse Rd, in a beautiful sunny time, and It was amazing. We saw only two more peoples and a big canine footprint.
Happy trails,
Paulina
