It’s late November and Yoho is also blessed with abundant, dry and beautiful snow!. The guys have started packing and grooming! We are lucky to have both Joe and Hans available to set tracks for us this year.
You can now enjoy skiing the the Tally-Ho from the Field Info to the Natural Bridge(3 kms) and then down the Kicking Horse Fire Road (7 kms one way). Use caution as some of the creeks were still running over the trail in spot. A newer picnic table got put in at the viewpoint to the Ottertail valley—and we have the Parks Canada Trail Crew to thank for doing that!
Emerald Lake Alluvial Fan & Horse trail are not ready yet!
However—you can ski set your own trail on the walking trail or Horse trail. The lake is not completely frozen yet!
The main bridge at the top of the Fan will be put in soon. We will also be working on the Tree Hugging trail very close to the lakeshore.
Stay tuned and in the meantime—enjoy the tracks that are groomed. Marilyn
